Self-Care

*Advise from Jenny and Jason the founders of AcroYoga...
  • Study with teachers who inspire you on a regular basis.
  • Be as consistent as possible with your self-practice.
  • Maintain a balance between teaching, playing, resting, studying, vacationing and working
  • Spend as much quality time by yourself as you need to balance the quality time you spend with others.
  • Allow people you trust to hold space for you in the way that you hold space for others, and allow yourself to ask for help when you need it.
  • Always put your own life balance and happiness first. Everything else will follow.
  • Focus on your quality of being and the doing will flow effortlessly.
  • Do your best to follow through on your commitments, and, be willing to change your plans if your instincts or life circumstances guide you in that direction.
  • Leave enough time between teaching engagements to integrate your experience. At least 1-2 days minimum. Too many good things back-to-back can become a dizzying blur without enough space to reflect on the past and prepare for the future.
